Limo driver and Bible Bear part two — Jesus sent his twelve harvest hands out with this charge: “Don’t begin by traveling to some far-off place to convert unbelievers. And don’t try to be dramatic by tackling some public enemy. Go to the lost, confused people right here in the neighborhood. Tell them that the kingdom is here. Bring health to the sick. Raise the dead. Touch the untouchables. Kick out the demons. You have been treated generously, so live generously.” [Matthew 10:7-8 (MSG)]
Limo driver and Bible Bear part two
Off we went out on the highways and byways. My driver was in a tux, magnetic flags of Bible Bear, salvation tracts with Bible Bear as easy as ABC, Accept, Believe and Receive, an 8×10 black and white picture of Bible Bear holding a Bible with the church name on it, and of course, candy to hand out to the kids. We touched lives as I would come out of the sunroof waving going all over Branson touching people for Christ. One night we were out and met a grandmother that said she knew her grandson would love to meet Bible Bear. I asked where he was and he was having a birthday party at a nearby campground with his family. I said, “Get in grandma let’s go wish him a happy birthday!” I thought to myself how crazy, I am going with a lady I never met to a birthday party for someone I never have known (yet). If you are willing God will use you for His Glory and do it in a way you know it’s HIM. We pull in and grandma comes out with Bible Bear as they are all sitting around the campfire. Warning! Be careful if you are in a furry Bible Bear Costume. Bible Bear greeted the family, wished the young seven-year-old grandson happy birthday, got his picture with Bible Bear, gave him his 8×10 of Bible Bear, candy, and a pamphlet sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ. My prayer for you today is to be open, the Spirit will lead you and guide you to make an impact for God’s Kingdom for such as time as this!
